Upsetting members on here
Just a reminder that we take a zero tolerance stance on personal / racial attacks, to another forum member, forum staff, Sky and Easynet Staff.
If you post a personal attack it will be removed / deleted and you will receive a variable amount of Infraction Points, depending on our view of the seriousness. Once 10 points have been accrued you will receive an automatic ban, which expires after 10 days (although we reserve the right to extend)
An active poster on here has PM'ed me to let me know their decision not to post for some time, and at the end of the day that member, did so on his / her own time and not Sky's, to help our members with their problems.
If you do get an automatic ban, we will not overturn that decision, so please don't even think about asking us to.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

I think thats a good idea but I honestly think it should be an instant 10 point infraction giving them the ban time to cool there heals and clam down.

I didn't see what went on there but I'd say that personal attacks are a serious business, not just because of the offence it causes but because webhosts take a dim view of abuse reports. I know from bitter experience that they often reach for the delete key first and ask questions never....
If people have a problem with Sky then they need to complain to Sky directly. This isn't an official channel even if Sky staff happen to post here so there's no point.
I hope the Sky person (sounds like an alien cult) feels they will have our support and thanks for their positive input here rather than getting a screenfull of grief when they login.Connection Speed 13753 kbps Down - 766 kbps UpLine Attenuation 33.5 db Down - 18.7 db UpNoise Margin 7.0 db Down - 11.6 db Up

He's doing well - banned on Digital Spy too.

Yes he was banned just before joining here. He then re-registered on digispy as Digibox1 (i think) and was immediately banned again. He has manged to get an active id there again now under cpa01 ( http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...oster&t=468751 ).
His identical threads on here and digispy are the giveaway:

And the fact that he has not got the sense to reboot his router to give him a new ip.
We are watching and waiting to spring our little surprise~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

I agree wholehartedly with this stance, I do not know or care if the people who helped me work for sky or not, i just needed help...and got it. If people abuse someone on-line then pretty soon they won't bother helping people and noobs like me will suffer... If someone abuses anyone, ban them otherwise people who need help will suffer.
