SkyUser Cashback - For Sky Products
We are at the moment trying to implement a form of Cashback for our members, here on SkyUser.
Now, in an effort to support our members as well as our overheads, we would like to open up this thread for feedback on how we can proceed. We have two options.
1) We could open a white label website, whereby membership would be optional and once signed up you would be at the mercy of that particular companies Terms and Conditions, and we would get a return of the income as well as yourselves. This would be completely independent of SkyUser and all SkyUser would be is like an introducer to the deals.
2) We could develop our own software (preferred method) and then run our own Cashback Website, with our own staff etc. This would cost an awful lot to develop, but long term would benefit all of our membrers.
What we are proposing short term:
To develop and build our own solution, funding this from the Cashback that we would receive on a percentage basis with the member signing up or upgrading to Sky.
If you wish to sign up or upgrade to any of Sky's Services, check the relevant amount of Cashback that you would receive and then PM us after you have completed the sign up procedure online, with the date and rough time of the transaction. (You only be entitled for Cashback if you used a dedicated link, provided by us from our Cashback page) We will then confirm to you how much we will send to you in the form of Cashback. Sales are only validated once per month and so could not be confirmed until on or around 5th of the following month.
What we are proposing long term:
Once the Cashback Website has been built, we would then revert to the same sort of deals as other Cashback Websites. Whereby you would receive 100% of the commissions made in exchange for a small payment (not upfront, but deducted from your Cashback of approx £5) This would be an annual payment and would be deducted from your Cashback earned and would not have to be paid upfront.
For those of you who are already a Sky Customer, we could give you the following Cashback as from today if you wish to upgrade your account.
Broadband Upgrades
- Broadband Connect - £3
- Broadband Base - £3
- Broadband Mid - £10
- Broadband Max - £12.50
Sky Talk Upgrades
- Sky Talk Freetime - £5
- Sky Talk Unlimited - £5
Package Upgrades
- Sky Movies - £5
- Sky Sports - £5
Product Upgrades
- Sky Plus - £2.50
- Sky Plus with Multi-room - £5
- Sky Multi-room - £2.50
- Sky HD - £10
If you are interested, use this link to sign up, and then PM myself with the date and time of the completed transaction, I will then confirm the amount back to you asap. These Cashback Offers are valid until 29th February 2008 with a payout within 60 days of the confirmed sale by the agency.
Let us know your thoughts, or if you have any questions fire away.Last edited by NewsreadeR; 11-02-08 at 05:53 PM.

Re: SkyUser Cashback - For Sky Products
For new customers there would be a Cashback amount as well, but we would not be able to confirm the amount until the sale had been validated.
Just follow the same procedure above.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~
