That is great, I expect we will see some traffic as a result of that

How long before similar articles regarding Sky BB are written either in the newspapers or computer magazines?
Believe it or not, I am NOT a Sky hater. What I do hate though is bad service - something that Sky are guilty of over the recent weeks. However, c'est la vie these days with large corporates. The problem is that they can easily undercut smaller companies, but if you have a problem then you can end up fighting a losing battle. After all, whats a few customers lost here and there when you have thousands or millions of happy customers.

Sky will resolve the issues, just not overnight. At least they are offering compensation as well. Albeit not a lot for the inconvenience, i can think of at least one other ISP that has given people no compensation, or indeed any refund of money for not having a connection at all.

also unlike TalkTalk Sky are learning and changing things from their mistakes,
we do know Sky do take note and read posts on this forum, what would be nice is if they could post/pm/email us some explanations about some of the issues posted on here, that would at least in some way go toward restoring faith back into sky by its users."To help would be a great adventure"

I must admit that it does seem that Sky are trying to address the problems asap. To me it seems like priority is being given to technical problems and the issue with the routers. The call center folk are still very poor though.
Once all my probs have been sorted then I will no doubt be one happy customer. TBH - I even think that they are nearlythere with me and that this weekend I have experienced hardly any dropouts.
Some sites however are having probs - ebay for example works fine until I try and sell sometihing (not my Sky Rouuter yet). I get page cannot be displayed about 4 or 5 times before it actually loads the page.
Also, just registered on EAGames and trying to download BF2 patch 1.4 but get page cannot be found when I click on the 1. download link.

I had recurrent issues like that with ebay while on my stable BY cable connection, and sometime a broken link is just a broken link, not every problem you experience browsing is a problem at Sky's end.

I know what you mean. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price for BF2, especially considering America's army is free and an excellent game.
I accept that probelms with sites may not be due to a problem with Sky, but I have never had ebay probs with other ISP's.
