    Router OS and SKY

This is a discussion on Router OS and SKY within the Technical discussion forums, part of the Broadband Technical Help category; It probably won't be the cause of your issue, but Sky's DHCPv6 server doesn't support Rapid Commit, so you can(should?) ...

It probably won't be the cause of your issue, but Sky's DHCPv6 server doesn't support Rapid Commit, so you can(should?) disable that.

Unlike with Sky's DHCPv4 server, that requires something to be present in Option 61 Client-ID, there's nothing special required for DHCPv6, as long as it's asking for a PD. Sorry that probably doesn't help you, but perhaps try resetting all your DHCPv6 client settings to default?

      Re: Router OS and SKY

I have tried all possible options, but non works
But as advised by @det current setup:

      DHCPv6 Client: DHCP
      Interface: ether1
      Request: prefix
      Pool Name: IPv6
      Pool Prefix Length: 56
      [x] Use Peer DNS
      [ ] Rapid Commit
      [x] Add default Route

      DHCPv6 Client: Advanced
      Default Route distance: 1
      DHCP Options: none

      Status: searching, no IPv6 prefix

When I plug in SkyBox ER115, I get IPv6 after few minutes ...

I have try Enable/Disable, Reboot the router, nothing works, IPv6 stopped working.

      Re: Router OS and SKY

I am thinking that maybe I have to "Insert DHCPv6 Client MAC Address Option 79" into the packets,
as I have cloned the MAC address from ER115 for IPv4 into the MikroTik Router ether1 interface, but looking now on IPv6 options,
that is being requested by my routers MAC or DUID 0x0003000mikrotikmacaddress.

I have tried adding option 79 to "DHCP Options" as:
      Name: client_mac
      Code: 79
Value: 0x0003000skyer114LANmacaddress (that I have captured using Wireshark)

      But still no joy

No, you definitely don't have to do that. And in fact, I'd recommend against cloning/spoofing the Sky Hub MAC address at all, that could just lead to complications, and there's no need for it.

      IPv6 worked with ER115
I got it working straight way with different MikroTik Router (RBmAP2nD), so at the end
I have found where the problem was: Firewall ;(

I did not have fw rule to accept DHCPv6-Client prefix delegation:
      /ipv6 firewall filter add action=accept chain=input comment="defconf: accept DHCPv6-Client prefix delegation." dst-port=546 protocol=udp src-address=fe80::/10

      All working now again
