      Comtrend adapters

Hi, I have just joined sky and have phone, TV and broadband with sky all running ok (still in 10 day training with broadband), my router is to far away from my sky box to run a earth net cable so I am using a pair of comtrend adapters and they are working fine no problem, what I want to know is can I use 2 more comtrend adapters with my desktop and a laptop or can you only use 2 together if you can use more than 2 together how do I go about setting them up thanks for any help.
I am 63 and not that great when it comes to techy things.

      Re: Comtrend adapters

Can you please double check that they aren't the versions that BT issued a safety bulletin on please?

      BT Vision Powerline Adapter notice

If they aren't these, then it is possible to link the four into one complete network.

If you would like more specific information, can you post the specific model details so someone can check what you need to do.

      Thank you.

      Re: Comtrend adapters

Unfortunately the information I need isn't there. I have a pair of Comtrend PowerGrid 902s to hand and their part numbers differ.

Could you click on the link below and see if you can find the correct model please? Pictures of each are on the linked pages.

This second link should allow you to get to the manuals if you click the model number:

Essentially for the pair I have, you can press one of the buttons on two of them to get them to talk to each other. It will be something similar for yours.

      Re: Comtrend adapters

      Well done!

Those user Manuals aren't supplied with the adapters, but they are very useful when you know that they exist.
