      New faceplate new test results, any advice?

      Ok bought the face plate from ADSL Nation (easy to fit by the way) and i have the router hardwired to the PC.

      My test results previous were

      So then guys am i better off?

      I can see i am syncing @ 2560kbps (just over 2 meg) but when i do a speed test i get between 600kbps and 850kbps? iI have run TCP optimizer and it is still the same

      Any ideas? am i capped @ 1 meg?

      See reply posted to the other thread you started.

      No you're not capped - if you were it would show in your router stats. You are however on Connect and its rate adaption system can get "locked" to a particular speed. This normally sorts itself out.
