Sky Netgear DG834GT utility version 0.4

You can pull your full stats into a config file and that will give more information about you connection. If you then paste this info the tech minded lot should be able to help you further.

      Re: connected ..low connection speed..

I am sure someone will pick this up for you, from a novice G.DMT suggests the line may capped, but I cannot advise you further, my attenuation is longer than 17 but in Master socket I get the full 16 kbps. Did you take these stats from an extension?

      Re: connected ..low connection speed..

Sky have put you on G.DMT and not ADSL2+. They seem to be doing this with a lot of people. You will have to get onto them and query why they have done it when your stats show you should be able to get a stable connection at a higher speed

Hahaha! Sky just get better and better with the things they come out with.

Ask them to raise a ticket with tier 3. If they will not try explaining your stats to them, I doubt they will understand. Maybe that way you can ask to be put through to tier 3 who will understand. Telling tier 3 your stats will prove you are capable of getting better speeds.
