      Very Slow Download Speeds

Hi! For the past few days, or week even, I've been getting very slow download speeds. My router reports it's connected at 4.7 Mbit (this varies when I restart my router though, it's usually somewhere between 4.0 and 4.9 MBit), but using speed-testing websites such as Namesco BroadbandMax ADSL Broadband Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL Broadband connection speed are now giving a result of roughly 500kbit download speeds, whereas before I was getting about 3900kbit.

Why is my download speed incredibly low? I am also noticing very low speeds on bittorrent networks.

Is there anything I can do? Or should I be contacting Sky?

      Thanks!

      Re: Very Slow Download Speeds

Hi! Just read that thread, seems similar to the problems I'm experiencing

I found this on my router log. It's happening quite a lot. Sometimes the port changes. Is it something I should be concerned about?
