Are you plugged in to your master socket or an extension. If possible remove the faceplate from your master socket and connect your router to the BT test socket, if this improves things investigate you extension wiring as per DSL ZoneUK - Improve your speed - Extension wiring and Disconnection help

      Hope this helps.

      Re: Internet Speed really Slow

Your attenuation and SNR are almost identical to what I had when I first connected and I had speeds of over 3 Meg.

I eliminated all internal wiring by installing an ADSLNation filtered faceplate and using an extended RJ11 to connect directly to it. My sync speed is now almost 4.5 Meg and I am extremely pleased with the results.

Don't give up, there is some more speed in that connection I am sure. Good luck in finding it

Thanks Guys, unfortunatly my main socket is located in my attic and wot makes it worse is that there is no power supply up there. however i moved my router downstairs and now i get 1.5mbps at the most. i still think thats poor considering wot u pay for. tomoz im going to try the other sockets in the house and see wot i get.
