What max sync speed I should expect.
I'm on the mid package (up to 8 Mbs), and have managed to improve my noise margin considerably by removing the bell wire from the extension cabling.
Currently I get a Receive Sync speed of 8190kbs, with a noise margin of about 12.5db.
Downstream line attenuation is 45db.
Question is, is this the maximum sync speed for an 8Mbs connection, or should I be able to squeeze a bit more out of it?

If I am not mistaken 8190kbps is the max for 8mb?
Even tho' 8 x 1mb (1024kbps) = 8192
*******
Also based on your attenuation of 45db, DSLZoneUk states that your potential connection speed on MAX will be around 8mb aswell.
