Hi guys this is my 1st post & hopefully it's in the right place. I'm on Sky Max and until recently I have had good speeds, but recently the speed has dropped. I am connected at 12mb on average, but if I can download at 3meg i'm doing well, this is on the desktop. But i tried yesterday on my laptop cabled and I get full speed from downloads. Any ideas to what I can do to get the desktop's speed back?
Any help is greatly appreaciated.

Is your Desktop wireless or wired connection?

it's Wired, dont trust wireless that much,only use that on laptop

Strange that it has suddenly changed.
You may have done this before but it may be worth resetting your TCP/IP settings as a starting point.
Do a before and after speedtest on a decent site such as Namesco BroadbandMax ADSL Broadband Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL Broadband connection speed

I have found out the problem which is Kaspersky Internet Security, now need 2 re-configure it so as I can get the speed back
