I understand that the actual speed to achieve will be lower than the actual sync speed that your router reports, but how do you know if you getting the best you can get.

I have ran the speed optimiser and my speed tests come out at a common 6800kbps (using various speed test sites and downloading large files ie binaries or apps like the FSimX demo which is 700Mb). I have also performed these tests at varios times of the day.

My router syncs at 8100 so I am losing 16% of the available speed. Is this within a reasonable level for overheads etc or should I be able to get a little bit more?
