      Speed up then down.

      Ok I phoned today as according to my stats etc I should be getting between 12-16meg & I am getting 8meg, the lady on the phone put me on hold & had a chat with tier3 & low & behold my speed went upto 13meg for about an hour & is now back to 8meg. My upload speed has gone from 416 to 768. I am waiting on tier3 to phone to let me know what is happening.

      That 15.5db Attenuation is a ****-up in the router? Have you tried resetting it?

      Yep I have reset the router.

      What are your stats now? Also just copy&paste the stats, saves you time uploading the image!

      Yep with the pin at the back. I am going to unplug the router for 5 mins or so & see what happens.

      Ok After having left the router off for 5 minutes here are the new stats.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 8096 kbps 768 kbps
      Line Attenuation 29.0 db 18.0 db
      Noise Margin 14.4 db 13.0 db
