I have tried the master socket does not make a bit of difference here's my latest stats.
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3680 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 29.0 db 17.5 db
Noise Margin 29.9 db 10.0 db
To be honest I am getting a bit sick of this, I wish I had stayed were I was as at least I was sitting happy on a 6meg stable connection.Last edited by jjwf; 24-11-06 at 08:07 PM.

Have spoken to sky, they have raised a ticket with tier3 & will let me know within 5 days, I am going to keep an eye on the connection & stats & if things do not improve I will cancel the whole lot & return to were I came from.

Hope it gets sorted, it is so frustrating not be able to wave a magic wand and sort things out for you.

lol
Seriously 5 days to wait for a problem when raised is appaulling. More than that is just plain stupid.
Communication goes a long way, but to keep people in the dark is truly madness.
I really hate to see someone give it a go and try to sort it their end, when in all reality they can't.
I know its not the staff's fault, but tbh Sky could do a lot more for users if they just communicated!
The exchange problems been my biggest gripe, because of this, Sky are losing customers and making people very unhappy. If people are given a realistic timeline, it allieves their anger. What happens if you go out during the next 5 days and they ring when you are not in. 3 times I think they try, then close it off, why not just email or write a letter?~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Even if they were to give you access to an Online Account Support Feature where you could check on your ticket would be useful!
And Like you mentioned, I personally believe BTw aka OpenReach are probably being the way they are because they are losing customers fast!
