      Line capacity

Being activated wed 30th August - just phoned sky to see what my line can handle - only 6.6 meg still that's about what I'm getting at the moment and I will being paying 12.00 a month less so can't grumble

My exchange is 670 metres away (as the crow flies) so they must have routed my line through all of the west midlands!!

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
