      How Come?.. Its Just Not Fair!

      Hi All,

      Anyone else notice this?

      If i download stuff from anywhere, Download.com for example i get really slow speeds, at the moment less than 0.5mb but usualy arround 1mb but.. but... heres the kick in the nuts...

      If i download something from Microsoft or do the BTopenworld.com/speedtest i can regulary get over 8mb!!

      My question is.. How come?
      I don't want a connection that is in all intents 1mb or less unless i do speedtests or download from Microsoft!

      It can be dependent on how busy the server you are dling from is and how much bandwidth they provide. It is only when you get a faster connection that this becomes noticable!

      Post some speedtest results at various times, I recommend;
      Three at

      5am
      5pm
      10pm

      This will an easy way to find if there is congestion at the Exchange?
