      2 things you can do then

      Behind the faceplate on your current socket you could hard wire the 2 blue cables into it on the left hand side from the socket you pinched from your old house.

      Or buy a new faceplate from here and run a cable from the adsl side to your router

      You can get the new cable from the same site

      Hey thanks for the advise, really appreciated.
      1 - I did not pinch it, i borrowed it permanently.
      2 - So i just need to use the 2 blue wires into numbers 4 and 5 terminals?

      Without seeing the inside of the thingy then I dont know what numbers they are

      if it is laid out with 2 banks of 3 connectors, its normally the middle ones, take a piccie if you can for clarification

      No2 = Solid Blue
      No3 = Red
      No5 = Black

      Other 2 blues are my ones that i am trying to connect.

      Hi

      From what I can understand,

      On your cable coming out of the wall, blue goes to pin 2 and red goes to pin 3 and your black goes to pin 5

      The cable with the nicked box on needs to go to pin 2 and pin 5 in the above example.
