      Phone Sockets?

Hi all, recently signed up to Sky broadband and I have my phone and modem plugged in to the face plate by the telly, but I've also got what I think is the master socket in the bedroom. Should I have one of the filters supplied by Sky in the master socket even though I am not using it?

You should have a filter between any socket and any item plugged into that socket (ie, phone, fax, modem, sky box etc).

Best results can be obtained by having the router connected to the TEST socket that is hidden beneath the faceplate of the MASTER socket.

It is unusal for a master socket to be in a bedroom.

      See link in my sig.

It's definitely the master socket in the bedroom as it has the other socket behind the front face plate. I can't really put the modem in the bedroom yet as I was told to leave the modem on for 10 days????????

Moving the router once to the master socket shouldn't have any effect on the DLM training process.
