Hmm..
Hi Guys another question for you.
What do you think of my new speed and what do you think of my noise margin,
Connection Speed 5088 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 51 db 29 db
Noise Margin 4 db 10 db
To me it looks a little low and i'm scared in case my connection drops out. also my line attenuation seems to have increased from 48 to 51 db.
Any help would be great, thanks

Re: Hmm..
An increase normally means a change to adsl2+ but I don't think this is the case...if it's stable then don't worry about it, or reboot in the evening and it should stay stable all day after that. Might lose half a meg or something but personally I'd choose stability over speed...

Re: Hmm..
Don't think ill be rebooting, I was told not to reboot and let the router automatically re-sync over night? Guess ill just have to wait and see what happens over night

Re: Hmm..
There's nothing wrong with rebooting - if you do it at night it's more likely to stay stable throughout the day as it may just reboot anyway this evening if the SNR continues to drop...see what happens

Re: Hmm..
Well ive just remembered about this post and my download speed has not dropped it has stayed the same, 5088kbps
also my noise margin seems to have improved.
Previous speed 3074kbps
New speed 5088kbps <-- technically its higher because when I download files I receive 600KB/s which equals to about 5500kbps... I think.
