Upload faster than download??
Hi all,
Im new around here, although i've visited many times to find information.
I have recently moved in with my inlaws who have Sky broadband.
As a Sky BB user at my previous house I was a satisfied customer with a 9 meg download and a 512 (ish) upload.
Here at my in laws their upload speed is actually higher than their download!
Is this normal?
Heres a picture of their router status page:
Is this just something we have to live with?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Cheers
Martin

Thanks DSLDude
The master socket is in the main bedroom (downstairs)
Seems the father inlaw has built wardrobes in front of it!
Oh well, looks like thats that!
Thanks anyway

Re: Upload faster than download??
Is that normal or test socket? Either way you are capped but we need a set from the main/ test socket for comparison if these aren't them.

Re: Upload faster than download??
Hi Paul
As I said above I cant get to the main or test socket as its behind a built in wardrobe.
Why would there be a cap on the line?
Thanks

Why would there be a cap on the line?
When you have done that call Sky and ask the to lift the cap on your line.

Re: Upload faster than download??
Probably about 1+Mb improvement. You should now get about 4+mb.
