I had expected a LOT faster downstream but if you guys look at my stats and it looks fine then fair enough..
but the upstream seems really low and that random silly number under noise margin is confusing ?

Connection Speed 8188 kbps 252 kbps
Line Attenuation 28 db 15 db
Noise Margin 13 db 2147483647 db

yes it really does say that huge number
its plugged into the master socket..
has an "openreach" BT faceplate.. and ive got a filter between the router and the socket..

dodgy wiring? or i need a firmware upgrade ?
its a new netgear router.. firmware is V2.02.44

hope someone can offer any advice..

      thanks

Check your filters and the get the stats again from the test socket, you are getting noise from somewhere.
