i have just found this part of the forum and just wanted to ask about my router stats and see if they are ok

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7082 kbps 412 kbps
Line Attenuation 40.0 db 20.2 db
Noise Margin 16.0 db 20.5 db


also should i buy the xte 2005 faceplate?

You stats show you are capped and they are good for your attenuation. I would imagine you will get 10-12mb if you ring Sky and get them to uncap you.

thank you for the reply what do i say to sky? will they just uncap me if i ask or will they need a gentle push? any advice would be great

Ring them and tell them you have improved your wiring and would like the cap removing from your line, they will need to pass you through to CST to do this but they should be able to do it whislt you are waiting on the line.

Yes, just ask them to set the upload to 1.3Mb

Your stats are very close to mine speed wise you should get close to me.
