Thanks for the advice so far. It has turned me into a paranoid spped freak . As a result I was wondering if anyone could give advice on what sort of speed I should be getting. I have connected my router to the mastersocket as per the advice given elsewhere and been connected for 15 days now. For about the past week the speeds have not altered, which I assume is due to the DLM process ending. During the initial period my speeds ranged from about 3-15Meg, but have as I mentioned settled to the following.

So enough ramblings, here are the details

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7002 kbps 797 kbps
Line Attenuation 26 db 13 db
Noise Margin 15 db 16 db

As I mentioned these figure appear not to have budged in about a week.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
