Speed check on Homeplugs ps
Hi i have purchased 2 comtrend 902 home plugs from ebay, 1 connected to dg934 router (black sky) and the other connected to my PS3. After a while finally getting them to work everything seems fine with no difference compared to cat5 cable. But just out of curiosity can anyone ps tell me if the below speeds are ok. These were taken from the comtrends router page.
Phy Tx Throughput = 145 Mbps
Phy Rx Throughput = 141 Mbps1.16 direct from Clacton-on-sea,s Holland Rd Exchange

The Commtrend will run upto 200mbps so what you have is a bit less than that but in real terms as your broadband connection is only 20mb maximum you are easily faster than you could download.
I have Solwise 85mb plugs and they work great easily capable of streaming HD across the network.
