      Re: expected speeds?

when i was on BT up to 8 meg (ADSL) i was getting 3400kbps when the router syncronized, now im on sky broadband (ADSL2) and im getting 7500kbps syncronized, so sky MAX would probably get you double your speed if not more!!

      Re: expected speeds?

That's not how it will work!

The max speed the line can take will not change dependant on the ISP, the actual speed may if the ISP hasn't set it up to it's limit.

Speed is dependant on line distance and quality, an ISP can do nothing to improve this.

The only change to this would be if the line could achieve more than 8mb, Sky LLU would allow for upro 20mb with most BT exchanges still being upto 8mb untill the upgrades are rolled out.

      Re: expected speeds?

Sky LLU gives you the fastest speed your line can recieve, with a target SNR of 7db down, and supposedly so is the upstream.
