      Help

I am thinking of changing to Sky for my broadband, at present I am with orange the speeds are low as low as 120kbps some evenings. A broadband engineer from openreach came to my home and found no problems then an engineer went to the exchange found no problems there. He said that BT were throttleing the speed and he could not alter the settings in the exchange. My question will I still get the same problem when I change to sky?

      Re: Help

If Sky dont have LLU prescence at your exchange and you can only get Connect then that would be a very big YES.

      Re: Help

Your exchange has no LLU providers unfortunately. You would be better going to someone like Plusnet who do not throttle so badly and are up front about how they do it.
Post your stats for an idea of what you should get.-
