      Rubbish speed please help

      Have just run a speed test and reports Your current download speed is 480Kbps, and your current upload speed is 580Kbps.

      i am on Sky Max so thought i would be a lot higher than this.

      Can anyone give me a step by step guide on how to get this higher

      You have a long line there, your line has been capped by sky you need to contact the to increase the speed, you could also try the test socket if you have one link below with details in sig.

      In which case your internal wiring is causing issues, can you fit a filtered faceplate and run the router from there?

      Was that part of a standard Sky install, you sure it was a faceplate he fitted and not confusing it with a splitter for the Sky box? Please post pics if you can.

      Can you post a pic of the socket they fitted? Looks like a wiring fault to have drop off that bad.
