Do you have a test socket? (see sig for details).

Post your stats again from there.

When you exposed the test socket, were all the other phone points dead? you can test by plugging a phone into them.

He means plug the router into the test socket, then go round your house plugging the phone into any other sockets you have to check if there is a dial tone (there shouldn't be) If there is then your wiring is setup incorrectly.

Just a thought, do you have an alarm connected to the phone line? Your sync speed/noise margin are low for your attenuation. If you don't have an alarm, you have a fault in your external line or at the exchange.

no we don't have an alarm connected i don't think just the phone and the router.

the tests were taken from the master and test socket. i was on 16 meg profile and didnt have any problems but when i rang up to make the upload better he put the download limted to 12 meg and now im getting lagg on call of duty servers. one minute its ok then get lagg but i didnt have this before the last change. and the last change also inculed changing the interleave deapth to 18

can anyone tell me what my line can handle?
