That looks better, but you are capped at the moment. Phone up Sky, tell them you have improved your wiring and would like your speed adjusted.

The download speed you posted in the speedtest section is just not true. Speedtest.net is about the worst speedtester you can use, your results prove it.

You should get close to 20Mb when sky raise the speed.

      Re: SkyMax (Unlimited?)

It looks better but different routers report differently. Are you sure the DownUp is the right way round, 12.5/29 is a very big difference in downstream attenuation.

      Re: SkyMax (Unlimited?)

Thats what its saying but i think you are right. I was thinking that they looked to be around the wrong way....

      Hmmm

So if we swap those 2 how does it look?

And if i ask Sky to push the speed up will it matter that its not a Sky modem....

      Re: SkyMax (Unlimited?)

I would continue to use the Sky box until your final speed is settled, then you can mess around with it.

OK. So who do i ring to get the speed upped? Anyone got a number? Sky seem to have too many departments.

And what should i ask for?

      Re: SkyMax (Unlimited?)

remember, existing customers will be told to wait as CST are under instruction not to increase the speeds of existing customers until they've been back through DLM once it's turned on at their exchange...

ONLY new customers currently benefit the new speeds - unless you get a CST agent who doesn't know/has ignored this instruction from management...
