If it is white it is a GT, blackish grey could be a DG934G or a Sagem. The manufacturer is on the label. You select your router type in the drop down box in the Control Panel where you edit your details, the DG834gt just happens to be the first one on the list. Click the User CP link in the Menu bar above to get there

      Re: Extremely slow internet

DLM trains the line / manages the line so that your speed is stable and as good as it can be for the line conditions. That line speed is not that good for your attenuation, how are you connected to the line, how many sockets are on the line and in use and how many filters are in use?

There are 2 sockets on the line one in the living room and one in the next room where the PC is. The Phone and micro filter is plugged into the living room and the pc and micro filter is plugged in the next room.

Sky tv plugged in anywhere? Does one of your telephone socket plates on the wall have a split in the plate running left to right just above the screws?

      Re: Extremely slow internet

When it arrives plug the telephone lead from the sky box into the telephone side of the filter. Can you plug your router into the test socket behind the split plate and take comparrison stats please? Also can you check the stats do not change with all other equipment off the line??
