      is this slow

      so i have the 16mb max thing

      is this bad y/n:

      Your speed is an up to speed on Max and depends on many things including distance from exchange etc. Your line attenuation is not good but you should be getting a better speed than that with decent line conditions. How is the router connected to your line, have you got filters directly onto each telephone socket on the line and are you using any extensions?

      Try the Test socket, click link below.

      You are very far from the exchange and you will never get a good speed. To be honest, unless you intend to download more than 40 Gig a month you are wasting your money paying extra for Max.

      uhh, downstairs there's a netgear dg834gt router and phone which connect to a microfilter, router has an ethernet cable connecting it to the wall

      upstairs another crazy long ethernet cable connects to an SMC EZ connect usb/ethernet converter which connects to the pc

      and there's a bunch of other phones that don't connect to sockets
