is it ok to be pluged into the test socket 24/7 or should i be pluged into a normal socket many thanks for any replys

can you still plug the microfilters into the test socket... so i would have the phone, adsl and sky+ plugged into the test socket?!?

If you are plugging direct into the test socket, you would need an adapter of some description, so as to use the three connecting leads.
As for using a filter direct into the test socket - I can't see no reason why not. It just wouldn't look very tidy.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~
