Rebooted the router over and over and it wouldnt get any higher until the 8th time and now im synched at...
DownStream Connection Speed 7005 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 796 kbps
What the hell are Sky playing at?! I had a stable 8/8.5mb connection for over 6 months and i dont recall having it drop once.... Now all this!!!!

Can you post your router stats again, from the current location and the test socket.

No i never really expected higher speeds, althought it would have been nice... but to have dropped speed and be paying more is not really what i call value for money!!
Besides, why should i be happy with something when i know it can be better?
Its like giving you a Ferrari and limiting you to 80% of its power! Its not on!!

Well the problem is that it is working as it should, the increased upload speed is at the detriment to the download speed.
You are also paying the extra for unlimited downloads, something that no other ISP offeres, well not for this price anyway.
As it stands, you are not running at 80%, you are running at around 100% it's just that the download speed has decreased to enable the upload speed to increase.
It's a compromise.
