Is there anything i can do?
Is there anything i can do make this better. I have feeling it might be the wiring in the house. I havent tried mastersocket yet.

You could try the Test socket, but I don't think you will do much better. 6+Mb would be good for your attenuation and you are not a lot below that. You don't appear to be capped.

Thank you for your reply. I thought that might be the case. Getting access to the test socket is slightly time consuming, so i am happy with this..
