      Internet Icon Disapears?

I am using the Ethernet connection for my broadband, and a second laptop else where in the house on the Wirless.Although the connection indicator for the Ethernet / Network Icon Monitor always sits at the bottom Right of the screen the Internet Connection one does not always stay despite the box being ticked for it to display.
Do you know of a piece of free software that will stay at the bottom right task bar to give me this information?

Do you mean the little icon with the 2 little computer screens that flash blue when there is activity?

If so, and you are on XP:

      Start
      Control Panel
      Network connections
Find the Local Area Connection that you are using
Right click, then left click on properties
Put a tick in Show icon in notification area when connected
      Click ok

      Thats should be it

Na they do that sometimes, have a look and see if there is any updated drivers for your Ethernet card that usually fixes it.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
