      The optimiser won't do anything on Vista full stop its been discussed countless times on many forums. Vista uses a dynamic adjustment system that optimises the Tcp/Ip connection constantly. The optimiser tool simply amends certain registry values not used by Vista so your wasting your time trying it.

      Thanks mate for some down to earth answers.

      I phoned sky and asked them about my connection being capped and he spoke to me like i was off another planet.

      He said my line would handle 512kbps but i am getting 4 meg.

      I think some of the members should remember we are not all computer wizz kids.

      You wouls not happen to know how to get round a error message i am getting when i try and stream video to my ps3 DNLA PROTOCOL ERROR(2006)

      Any help would be grateful.

      Go to network settings

      - turn off media servers
      - turn off ps3
      - turn on ps3
      - turn on media servers
      -
