      Excellent! Thanks!

I'm hoping that Sky follow-up my Kana form soon and adjust the Max-delays accordingly.

At the moment I'm getting 90-150 ping which 4/5x more than when I was with BT!

Call Of Duty 4 on my Xbox 360 is uber laggy at the moment!

      *Crosses fingers*

      Re: Should I worry yet?..

Just thought I'd post with an update for anyone that was mildly interested...

Sky emailed me this morning informing me they had lowered my Max_delays. I've ran a few speedtests over the course of the morning, and my ping now is averaging 50/70 from 90-120. So that's a fair bit better.

However my download speeds have halved from 5000-6000 kbps to around 2500. Upload speeds are similar.

Just thought I'd post incase there was anybody else here considering asking Sky to do the same. It just depends what is more of a priority I guess - gaming or download speeds.

Just ashame I could've have the best of both worlds! Nevermind!

depending on who does the lowering, they'll usually lower sync as well...have your stats changed?

      Re: Should I worry yet?..

      G'evening

Okay, here's my stats as requested:

Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN PPPoA 128462 140459 0 609 894 13:09:42
      LAN 100M/Full 312699 274557 0 2141 722 23:01:06
      WLAN 11M/54M 4966 0 0 9 0 23:00:53
      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3072 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 45 db 13 db
Noise Margin 11 db 11 db

Not really sure what they've done - maybe capped it to make it more stable?

I'm not TO bothered about the lot slower download speeds; but obviously it would've been nice if they stayed the same as well as having lower ping!

      Re: Should I worry yet?..

Yeah I'm happy at how fast Sky responded. I thought I may get capped a little during the process, just not by over half my connection speed... Nevermind!
