I don’t think the problem is a virus or spyware issue. I was using NTL previously and had to go 4 weeks without the internet while I was waiting for Sky. I used this as an opportunity to reformat and do a fresh install.

I have run the netstat when on the phone to sky and I think there were four or five.

I’m using a wireless connection which is connecting at about 70-75%

Tried the TCPOptimizer but didn’t do much.
