Migrated to sky - Now v slow Sync Speed

Hi,

Hope someone can help.

I've recently migrated from Plusnet in the hope that Sky would be faster.

Unfortunately where my old router synced at 8M with Plusnet, with sky it is now syncing at:
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 576 kbps 288 kbps
Line Attenuation 41.0 db 22.0 db
Noise Margin 30.0 db 25.0 db

Its not the hardware at my end - I've managed to get my username and password out of the sagem thanks to this forum and tried my old belkin router - it too syncs at this crappy 576k speed

I'm paying the more expensive 17quid so i'm not on LLU so this makes it even more strange - I would have thought since i'm still on a BTW ipstream based adsl product it would connect at the same speed...

I've tried ringing sky CS but they were useless.

Has anyone any idea whats going on here? I'm very confused - is it this DLM that I've heard about? How do the attentuation and noise margin look above? Should I be connecting faster given those figures?

How recent was the move? If you are on the connect the T1 agents are restricted in what they can do for 10 days but that set of stats looks like a cap.

Only been a few days since ive been on sky.

Whats should i do here? Wait for while or contact sky now?
