Was you sky box plugged into the phone line at the time? If so, put a second filter into this as near to the box as you can. I did this and gained 2.5mb.

Just plug the Sky box into the phone side of the filter then plug the phone into the back of the sky line.

well i bought a filter faceplate from ADSL nation.
so thats got the sky box in the phone socket and the ADSL plugged into the other half.
Still the same 2800/3000 ish sync speed...

Well, it's kinda gone from bad to worse.
I got an email from someone at sky, after i had complained about low speeds for my attenuation. The reply was freindly (allbeit, she mixed up her kbps and mbps - said she's try me on "8kbps". hahaha)
However monday morning i have come downstairs to a "ADSL Link Down" and "Fault 100 - Line not physically connected" errors from the router. It has been like that since. fortunately i have not needed the interent this past week. But, its just very annoying, to have lost all connection completely.
I'll be phoning sky later this evening, hopefullly CST can shed some light!

Hey, phoned sky, which wasnt easy, or fun.
got through top a nice guy, who repaired the connection - he couldnt find my account by name, account number or address, only by phone number! (he had no idea what was up with it).
however i asked him to pop me on to ADSL2+ for an experiment, he agreed and transfered me there and then, it didnt work, the line wouldnt even pick it up. so he popped me back onto GDMT. When i questioned my ATT, and how i should be looking at 5mbps min. he replied that his computer allowed him to only put through 3.5 on my line.
so i was forced to accept. however on re-syncing (he told me to restart) i synced at 1900kbps.
ive attatched my stats again, to see if anyone has any more idea.
perhaps i should phone again, and hope i dont get the same guy?
