      StageCrew's test

Typical value below - Sunday I was getting about 10

      Sky BB DG834GT Netgear FW
      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 15323 kbps 766 kbps
Line Attenuation 30.5 db 15.8 db
Noise Margin 10.3 db 13.7 db

Am about 1.3 km from the exchange as the crow flies.
When first set up the router it was in an ext and sync'd at about 10,000kbps.
Moved to Master socket with filter faceplate and now 15,323kbps.
Also more stable as Noise Margin was down around 7 before. Still drops down in the evenings.

Still have to reboot once a day - seems to slow down overnight but keeps sync.

Have run TCP Optimiser but did not seem to make a great difference.

Speeds certainly seem to vary during the day - sometimes click on a link and it is instantaneous and at other times click and wait 2 or 3 seconds for the page to change (moving round BBC site for example).
