Are my stats normal? (sky max)

      Hi

This is my first post, i found this site on the weekend as i have been a bit concerned with my speeds over the last 6 months on sky max.

Before Saturday my average speed was between 3800-4200kbps

I've been paying for sky max so i thought there might be a problem. I found this site and tried ye olde ring wire trick and i started getting about 6200kbps.

Then i tried the TCPoptimizer but it had no effect..

3 days later and my connection has gotten slower and slower and now i cannot get any higher than 2700kbps.

I'm desperate to sort this, can anyone help? My stats are below..

      System Up Time 00:03:21

Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN PPPoA 129 109 0 272 418 00:01:13
      LAN 10M/100M 1059 1172 0 2323 896 00:03:19
      WLAN 11M/54M 242 0 0 268 0 00:03:09

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 1952 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 50.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 9.6 db 10.0 db

      Thanks,
      James.

PS if i am in the wrong forum or i am breaking any rules let me know

Re: Are my stats normal? (sky max)

With an attenuation of 50 the best you could expect is 6500kbps.
Are those stats taken from the test socket ( behind the master ) ?
If not post a set from there for comparison.
PS - if you are using the V1 router you can use this utility to get detailed stats.
