      Wireless is faster than wireless

When I do a speed test it's 12.5mb wireless and just about hits 9mb wired. Can anyone say why that is. I have tried everything with settings etc. I have also tried tcpoptimzer.

Is there anything else I can try to improve my wired speed. Thanks.

Thats odd its usually the other way round. Have you got filters on every item pluged into a phone outlet ? Also can you try it from the test socket to see if that improves things. Use this utility to post router stats.

Have just tried the test socket with 4 different filters and samething happens. Also tried rebooting the router.

I am using a filtered faceplate so filters are not the issue.

I have changed my noise margin to 12db using mognuts because of the high errors I was getting connected at 15323 speed. Now i'm getting about 12 CRC errors a day.

I think i'm right in saying because youve forced your snr up your sync will come down. Your doing well to get 12500 from 13221 as overheads will claim a bigger chunk than that usually. As to why its better wireless I'm at a loss.
