Lately i've seen a major drop in download speeds. Even when it was faster than it is now it was still terrible but its just taking the mick!

I've tried with the TCP Optimizer and it made no difference what so ever.
Im on the package which comes with the 26 a month bundle, which is up to 6mb??

Here are my stats anyways.. could anybody tell me if there correct or is there something wrong?

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3808 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 34.0 db 19.0 db
Noise Margin 15.2 db 20.0 db

      Cheers,

Your upstream connection speed indicates you are probably still on the BT Wholesale Sky Connect service (up to 8 mpbs) although your exchange was enabled for Sky LLU in January as you can see here.

You should be able to connect at the full 8128 kbps if your line was free of noise so I would be looking closely at your wiring as you are only connected at 3808 kbps at present. Are you plugged in to an extension, wired or wireless, and do you have ADSL filters in every phone socket on the line?

Do you have an NTE5 master socket like this with a test socket behind the faceplate that you can try the router in?
