It does tend to go between 9mbps and 12 mbps but its generally very fast. Also all my tests are done using the laptop on wireless connection. Ping is a bit poor but lappy has been on all night and connection not rebooted for over a day. No disconnects, just very brief spells of lower speed for a minute or two.
