Re: Cant sync over 8mbps? Sky MAX

      Hi Guys

I don't post on here very often as since my initial few hiccups with Sky BB Max I have been trouble free for nearly 8 months now...but famous last words I suppose and I am back here again seeking your divine knowledge!

Up until about a week ago my connection was blazing (imho!) away at 8.2ish kbps sync speed, which would vary slightly following a disconnect (by me, at night) and the following morning the router would re-sync at above 8kbps, all the time, every time. The rate would differ slightly each time but always above 8mbps.

In the last week or so my router now will ONLY sync at 6143kbps, that exact rate, every time, all the time.

So, the burning question.....and I only ask this as the rate is now identical every time I resync the router, after leaving it disconnected for hours (during the night) is...

Have I been capped??? And, if so, what can I do about it! I would be fine if it was a constant sync rate over 8kbps, but I am on MAX and this is now even slower than before and I want it back to over 8kbps as before!

I have pasted my router stats below and look forward to your thoughts, CHEERS guys.

      Winston

      3 little letters...

      DLM

in a nutshell, do NOT reboot the router as this will lower speed further...
