Re: connection speed droped over the last 2 days

Lower sync can only be down to two things: you've been capped or you've got a noisy line. If you were capped then your noise margin would be higher so it looks like noise.

The test socket isolates all other house phone wiring so if the sync is much the same (and all you connected was a filter and the router with the supplied cable) then the noise is in your BT line.

Re: connection speed droped over the last 2 days

My speed has dropped drastically as well. This afternoon, I had a measly 256k !!! (I'm on Max as well).

Is your phone line noisy as well? As in when you make calls.....

I called Sky last night, and they gave me some rubbish story about how someone should call me in 72 hours.

Personally, I think I'm fed up with them, I'm moving house in May, and that will be the end of me and Sky Broadband.

13 LOS in 28 minutes? That is not a good sign really, plug into the test socket for an hour and post new stats.
