Speed Test vs Router Speed Status

Why is it that my Netgear Router from Sky shows my connection at an annoyingly slow for me speed?
      Sky Router: 4129 kbps / 448 kbps
Speed Test on ur site: 2176Kbps / 368Kbps

Other speed tests show the same big difference! I don't understand.

Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN PPPoA 10866754 11744571 0 9688 2392 72:06:18
      LAN 10M/100M 107761 0 0 53 0 102:04:16
      WLAN 11M/54M 11683218 11036385 0 2926 9990 74:58:07

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4192 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 30.0 db 18.0 db
Noise Margin 15.1 db 7.0 db

PS. Are these Noise Margin/Line Att any good or are mine bad?
      I'm on Sky Connect package:
You cannot receive Sky / Easynet LLU
You can receive BT ADSL BT xDSL
You can receive BT ADSL Max BT xDSL

That BT ADSL Max xDSL available to me - does that mean higer speeds potentially?

Thats what you are on, connect is bt's adsl max resold by sky.
Your nm is high which suggests you may be capped.
Router stats would help along with a description of how you are connected to the router. ie wired ? extensions etc ?
You could also try connecting to your test socket if you have one and see what that does to the nm.
