you stats look fine as far as i know... however 3 minutes is not really long enough, post stats after a few hours usage
try tcp optimiser, and if you allready have, try setting it to windows defaults

      Wired or wireless?

If wireless then you're just getting wireless interference from somewhere. Try changing channels.

      Hi Saturday,

My pc is wired but i also have 2 PS3`s connected, one wired and one wireless, would the fact that i enabled wireless on the router have anything to do with the speed drop?
Its a strange one i know that much, any help on the matter would be great

Could be a neighbour locally using your bandwidth if you have not got security well enabled. Watch the router wireless LED for activity when you are not using the wireless connection.

The safest way is to limit access to your wireless connection to the MAC codes of your equipment.

Re: Used to have great bb speeds

try a reboot to see if your upstream goes back to what it should be (if you had been having problems with your conection sky sometimes do a auto regrade but this normally affects downspeed as well so i would not think that is the problem)

also as you say you have synced at your normal d/load speed of 15323, when you did the test and got 8meg was the PS3 being used ? and did you try other speedtest sites ?

My wireless is secure and when i did my speedtests nothing else was on, i have a sneaky suspicion my upstream has been capped because every time i reboot, it`ll always sync at 301kb.
One thing i have`nt tried yet is the master socket, i will try that and see if that makes any difference, thanks for the help guys.

Well there's something odd that's for sure. Not a standard cap though as your max rate would be far higher e.g. ~1000kbps.

I'd say looking at your upstream noise margin, you may have an unusual line problem or an exchange fault (upstream nm will usually be higher than downstream).

T3 if it is an exchange problem. If that's not what's wrong then they'll be able to take it from there.
