Hi All,
Waiting on my migration date (13th Nov) won't be long
Can somebody tell me what speed is i should expect, I've
signed up to max.
My router stats are:
Uptime: 0 days, 0:47:16
Modulation: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 4,608
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/MB]: 75.44 / 457.23
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 25.0 / 47.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 20.0 / 15.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / TSTC
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 1 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 1 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 1,464
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 6
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 6

Assuming you have no internal wiring or other issues, you should be looking at the full 16mb as far as I am aware

If I am correct in stating your downstream attenuation is 47.0dB (Some routers report back to front), Then you should be able to connect at a potential speed of 6-7Mb.
chrisypea, Are you estimating that 16Mb based on the 25dB attenuation, As im pretty certain that is for the upstream??

Thanks for the replies.
My downstream is 47.0 dB.
So looking at between 6-7Mb, a lot better
than bt 4Mb im getting just now

Also, Your upstream should be slightly higher and more bandwidth to use aswell.
